The prospect who chose someone cheaper.

The scenario:

You lose a deal on price. The prospect signs with the provider who quoted thirty percent less. You move on, because that is what you do.

Then six months pass, the corners that got cut start showing, and the prospect is quietly wondering who else to call. Most MSPs never find out, because nobody kept the door open.

The prompt:

You are building a set of former-prospect check-in emails for an MSP that lost deals on price.

Context: [prospect names, the date you lost each one, and what you know about the winning competitor's model]

Build:

  • One short email per prospect, timed for the six-month mark

  • No pitch, just a genuine ask about how things are going
