PROMOTING EVENTS THAT ACTUALLY FILL SEATS

Webinars and events are great for pipeline – if people actually attend.

Most MSP event promotion sounds the same: “Join us for a webinar on cybersecurity best practices.” Delete. The trick is selling the outcome, not the format. What will attendees walk away able to do that they couldn’t before?

The scenario:

You’re hosting a webinar or lunch-and-learn and need promotional content that drives registrations.

The prompt:

You’re promoting an upcoming event.

Event details: [paste topic, date, time, target audience, key takeaways]

Create promotional content including:

– Event title (outcome-focused, not topic-focused)

– 3 email subject lines to test

– 100-word email body copy

– 2 LinkedIn posts (one announcement, one reminder)

– Registration page headline and 3 bullet points

Focus on what attendees will be able to DO after, not what you’ll talk about.
