How MSPs are winning with enhanced.io

Leading where others follow
How Ireland's most forward-thinking MSP built an elite security practice while competitors stayed stuck with basic endpoint tools

For over a decade, Landmark Technologies has built its reputation as one of Ireland's leading managed service providers. With 220+ clients across Dublin and beyond, they'd earned that 99% retention rate the hard way: by consistently delivering on promises and treating every client relationship as a long-term partnership.
But Ken Kelleher, Landmark's Managing Director, was watching the market shift. The conversations with clients had changed. Five years ago, security discussions centred on firewalls and antivirus. Now, CFOs were asking about incident response capabilities. Boards wanted to know about 24/7 monitoring. Prospects were arriving with security questionnaires that ran to forty pages.
"The bar had moved," Ken explains. "Our clients, particularly those in regulated sectors or handling sensitive data, were being held to enterprise standards by their own customers and insurers. They needed enterprise-grade security. And they were looking to us to provide it."
The challenge was stark: building a genuine security operations capability in-house would require significant investment in both technology and talent. Ireland's cybersecurity skills shortage meant competing with banks and tech giants for scarce SIEM engineers and SOC analysts. The economics simply didn't work for an MSP of Landmark's size.
Meanwhile, Ken observed other Irish providers taking a different path: layering on basic endpoint detection tools and calling it "managed security."
"That approach might tick a box on a compliance form, but it doesn't actually protect anyone," Ken says. "When a sophisticated threat hits at 2am, an automated alert isn't enough. You need human expertise making decisions. We weren't willing to compromise on that just because it was the easier path."
Why enhanced.io
Landmark evaluated multiple security partners across Europe and beyond. Most offered variations on the same theme: technology platforms with varying degrees of automation and escalation procedures that ultimately left the MSP holding the bag when things went wrong.
enhanced.io presented something different.
"From the first conversation, they understood our business," Ken recalls. "They weren't trying to sell us a platform and wish us luck. They were offering to become our security operations team, with actual humans, actual expertise, and actual accountability."

Managing Director, Landmark Technologies
Landmark gained access to senior security leadership without the €150,000+ salary that would normally command.
Not a call centre following scripts. Not an AI triaging alerts. Actual security analysts monitoring, investigating, and responding around the clock.
enhanced.io handles the technical complexity while Landmark maintains the client relationship. "They make us look good," Ken says simply.
The results
Landmark now competes successfully for clients who would previously have defaulted to Big Four consultancies or direct relationships with enterprise security vendors.
"We've moved up-market," Ken acknowledges. "We're not competing on price with providers who are just reselling endpoint tools. We're competing on capability with genuine security operations."
As DORA requirements come into force and Irish businesses face increasing scrutiny, Landmark's clients are ahead of the curve.
